Adams Creek Cohousing is a multi-generational community envisioned as a “modern village” with a focus on collaborative living and sustainable lifestyles. Within walking distance of downtown Hood River, the community is linked by natural beauty, outdoor recreation, and cultural vibrancy. The site is organized as three residential buildings with entries facing into a densely landscaped pedestrian zone. This path leads to the Common House and its generous deck providing expansive views to the Columbia River foothills beyond. The buildings and outdoor common areas also gesture toward the beauty of Adams Creek and the steep, wooded site. Materials and roof forms were selected for compatibility with the adjacent single-family neighborhood.
